Daily Luxe: Veloci

If it’s not yet very obvious, I’m a huge watchaholic. I haven’t really delved on in depth watch reviews here in the blog but my Instagram’s  (@phoebeannramos) filled with various arm parties with watches (of various sizes, styles, and price points) being the centerpiece. I always loved the feeling of handling and clasping on a brand new watch, something I definitely got from Gov. :)

I recently discovered Veloci and mannn where was I when this came out in Manila?!? It’s love at first sight try! For starters in need of an everyday watch that’s versatile and can be dressed up or down by changing the straps (only Php 300 per extra strap!), you can start with Voyager. Below is the 44mm (there’s also a 40mm version) in Silver. Such a sulit wrist candy for only Php 3650!

Gray on gray. On gray. <3

All About The Bling by Kenneth Cole New York

Whether you’re still in denial or otherwise, the holiday season has truly taken a bite off our calendars and its cheer and dazzle is here to make everyone merry and bright! :)  For arm candy addicts, your fashion strings will be pulled by legendary New York fashion label Kenneth Cole‘s statement pieces exclusive this season. They’re very sleek, modern, and urban-forward; inspired by the New York skyline, showcasing the glamour of the night, the cutting-edge city life, and the enduring spirit of classic sophistication. Love, love, love! <3

I’ve been a really good girl this year! :) :) :)

David Smordoni, Creative Director for Kenneth Cole New York watches, designed my latest modern classic arm candy. I love how it’s a mix of two things I tote around everyday at work — leather and diamonds. Similar to the rest of this season’s collection, my watch  was built on “contemporary chronology’s quintessential blueprints of transparent and skeleton dials, sparkling pave accents, and burnished brilliant metals”.

Gorgeous ain’t it?

Friendship watches? Why not! :)

Daily Luxe: ROD

There are days when I want to wear babbles on my wrist and some days when I want to toughen it up. When the occasion calls for the latter, I think these ROD watches perfectly fit the bill.

Founded in 2012 by its current CEO, distinguished watch designer and developer Marc Corven in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, ROD had built a remarkable reputation and renown in the international sports watch market. The Swiss brand has been celebrated for its strong design statement, high-quality materials and make, and most preciously, its highly affordable price. Always found with its trademarked screw emblem securing each exceptionally crafted, elegantly finished, and extraordinarily tough timepieces, ROD’s original designs become iconic in their own right. The brand’s great fusion on design and technique makes it a recurring hit at the annual Baselworld.

There are quite a handful of models locally available and these two are my favourites. They’re sweet and slightly tarty, exactly what my lifestyle dictates — part dressy, part sporty.

The Marc Coblen Pink Ribbon Watch

In need of a fashion accessory that’s got an equally strong support statement? I might have found the perfect wrist candy of the moment that couldn’t be more apt since we’re celebrating the Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) month this October. :)

Christel Slagt, Marc Coblen Global General Manager, unveils the Marc Coblen Special Edition Pink Ribbon Watch

Echoing the mantra, “it’s time to change,” Marc Coblen urges women to take a proactive stance against breast cancer and change their mindset about what it is and how to overcome it. In line with the Breast Cancer Awareness program, Marc Coblen has collaborated with the Philippine Cancer Society’s Best Dressed Women of the Philippines and Lucerne, to create a special edition watch called the “Pink Ribbon Watch.” A generous portion of the proceeds of all Pink Ribbon Watch sales will be donated to the efforts and activities of the Philippine Cancer Society in providing consultation and treatment to women with breast cancer all over the country.
