My Kind Of To-Go: Chelsea Market and Cafe
Posted on Jan 23, 2012 in FoodI was about to hail a cab late last week when the unthinkable happened: my stomach grumbled out of hunger like it’s the end of the world. I cannot stay in Serendra for a full meal so I stopped by one of my favourite restaurants for a to-go to be noshed at work just before midnight.

Apart from the iced latte (approx. Php 165) above and the Grandma’s Crispy Duck Confit and Mushroom Risotto (Php 575), I ordered something new to me just because. Oddly, I eat pork but I will only submit myself to its full glory only when I need serious comfort. That said, I ordered theĀ Grilled Maple Cider Glazed Bone-In Pork Chop (Php 475).

Sweet cinnamon apples, grilled farmer’s vegetable, mashed potatoes
WHY YOU SO GOOD?!?! I loved every bit of my to-go from the protein itself, the starch, veggies, candied fruits, and even the gravy. Its quality didn’t diminish after reheating so that’s a plus. Will I order this again? Yes because of its taste but I’d have to think twice just because I’m not a big pork nosher. The risotto’s a totally different story though — I’d have it every single day if I 1) could and 2) afford it. :)

I love Chelsea! I like their Rosemary Chicken and Five Cheese pizza! Oh my why is it no Chelsea in the South! Haha
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 5 cheese pizza! When my friends tell me “it’s just cheese” and I throw a mad fit. ;)
It looks so yummy! :)
YES! Even the anti-porkie in me loved it!
