Remember last week’s super panget day? Apparently, when you’re feeling as bad, it could be something worse than the usual allergy run. Something this blotchy (photo here, I saved it as a link in case you’re having breakfast with my blog) might be is dengue.
So yes, I spent the latter part of the week staring at the view above (at CBTL, Asian Hospital). The doctors were amazed because I was still able to drag myself to work for 3 days with the swollen red spots and 40 degree fever. Actually, it wasn’t very easy because my feet still hurt like silly and until now, my ankles are still swollen. On the plus side, it does pay to take all the supplements in the world coupled with 4x a week gym sessions. Docs said it could’ve been worse but my immune system’s fought the virus really hard!
I’m almost out of the woods now and I got a new hair colour (oh the things you do when you’re on house arrest!). It’s called Natural Brown from Etude House. The spots are almost 100% gone too. :) When I was red all over and I had to “put on a face” I also used the Neutrogena Fine Fairness BB Cream UV. More than a great (redness) neutralizer, as it is part of the Fine Fairness range, it does help in the overall brightening of the face. It’s been a week of on and off use and I think I’m starting to see results. Upon reading that you’re seeing the effect from the on and off use plus the huge wave of relief coupled with happy hormones abound, I’d say you’re not wearing it! Eek. You should’ve gone to the doctor immediately. I used to think dengue is scary only for children, until a dear friend died from it within a week of having it. And he didn’t even seem that weak during that time. :( Good to hear you’re okay. :)

That aside, wearing or not, I think your skin is naturally glowing. :) But from your previous post wherein you wore the Neutrogena Fine Fairness BB cream on one side of your face, I find that it naturally mimics glowing skin so it’s hard to tell whether you’re wearing it or not haha
