SAVE THE DATE: Multiply Shopping Party – 18 October 2011
Posted on Oct 6, 2011 in LifestyleThe year 2011 saw the evolution of Multiply from a social networking site to the Philippines’ biggest online shopping destination with over 100,000 on-line shops across 16 categories such as fashion, gadgets and mom and baby products, to name a few. Aside from opening its virtual doors to digital shoppers, Multiply has also become a choice platform for technoprenuers looking at starting their businesses. With the enormous amount of support it has been receiving in the country, Multiply also opened its first office in the Philippines earlier this year as a testament of its commitment to the market.
To celebrate its amazing year thus far, Multiply will be throwing a party the best way it knows how: a first-of-its-kind shopping party that will bring to life the unique online shopping experience that only Multiply can offer. This by-invitation-only event will bring to life some of Multiply’s top online shops.

The Multiply shopping party will also showcase the newly revamped Multiply interface that conveniently features the latest shopping finds, best sellers and featured sellers. New enhancements were made specifically to make online shopping at Multiply easier, more secure, and more fun.
Guests will also be treated to a fashion show that will showcase pieces from Multiply shops. Live performances will also amp the festivities with music from Pinoy rock band Techy Romantics and a performance by DJ Mars Miranda.
To make it even more exciting, guests will be given special cards to share items and shops that catch their fancy during the event to their Facebook friends. They’ll be able to “Like” the items at the party just by swiping these cards at the terminals where the items are showcased. Multiply is the first in the Philippines to use a technology to enable people to share real-world experiences with friends via Facebook.
To win exclusive invites for Multiply’s shopping party on October 18, tune in to radio partner RX 93.1 where tickets will be given away daily. People can also like Facebook.com/shopatmultiply or follow twitter.com/shopatmultiply on Twitter for more information on the event and for ticket giveaways.
The event is co-presented by Sun Cellular who will be giving away great raffle prizes and tokens for the guests and BDO who will be the on-ground payment facility for the event. Special thanks goes to David’s Salon who will be giving free styling tips for the night.
WHO WANTS TICKETS TO THIS PARTY? :)
At stake in this easy breezy contest are 20 invites (2 tickets to 1 winner). To win, you must submit a link of your favourite Multiply store and describe why it’s your favorite place to shop. The 10 best comments/answers (to my liking) bags 2 invitations each to the event. The first one to submit among the roster of 10 winners will also win Php1,000 worth of shopping GCs which you can use at the party.
So go ahead — doodle up and give me new stores to shop in Multiply! Contest ends on October 9 11 11:59PM (yes, we’re extending the deadline!). Announcement of winners will be on October 12, 2011 and the invites will be distributed by Multiply’s PR partner. :)

My favorite store would have to be Five by Five (http://fivebyfiveph.multiply.com/). :D I love how they have price matching which makes it possible shop from them at a lower price than indicated. They also have killer shoes which are to die for. :D
I love to shop at Margaret’s Site (http://marge016.multiply.com) for Beaumode Mineral Makeup. It has the cheapest MMU (as low as Php50 for 2.5g)! :)
My super favorite multiply shop is Ms. Sol’s (http://digitaltraincase.multiply.com/). She has a great range of NYX products, Milani, Charm brushes, some Sleek at times and other make-up stuff that will truly satisfy your cravings. She also sells at a very reasonable price, plus communicating with her is always fun and easy. :)
Can I make another comment about shops that are worthy? If so, here it is… :D
My favorite clothing shop is (http://plethorashop.multiply.com) Christine of Plethora sells beautiful new and vintage clothes at a budget! Prices ranges from 400-100. Another shop at multiply that sells pretty accessories is (http://miacasa8.multiply.com/) Their pieces are ultimately trendy, stunning, and yet affordable.
My favorite online shop is Beauty Cosmetics(www.andrei0417.multiply.com). Of all the sellers of different cosmetic palettes, this store has the lowest price of them all. Aside from its affordability, the seller Ms. Rosenn is the most accommodating seller I have ever met. Will meet you for pick up even if she is sick and if its short notice. Tried and tested, next day delivery. You will not regret buying from this shop. :)
My favorite Multiply shop is Gold Dot (http://golddot.multiply.com/). I’ve been an avid fan of their shoes ever since their first collection and they’re also the online shop which I’ve bought most from–3 shoes!
The reason why I keep buying from their store is because their shoes are oh so drool-worthy. They’re fashionable and trendy–the type that can make one do a double take when they see it. And this in fact has happened, quite a lot of times already actually.
But of course, having good merchandise is not the only factor why I love this store. Their excellent service is something that makes me keep coming back as well! The owner, Ally Duazo, really caters to each of her customers’ needs and concerns. She replies quickly and is very respectful and accommodating.
I always finish a sale with Gold Dot with a happy and contented smile. :)

I love http://www.mommytreats.ph/ or http://www.mommytreats.multiply.com. I’m a breastfeeding mom and having mommytreats a click a way I can order my breastfeeding cookies and muffins from her anytime. I do online shopping for my kids needs to avoid the hassle bringing them to the mall if I can order up it online. I don’t have the luxury go out much and its hard when with 3 boys.

My favorite multiply shop (forever) is Coexist!! http://coexistonline.multiply.com because their clothes are very romantic, doll like yet you could still wear walking in the street, and of course very gorgeous!! Also you couldn’t find their clothes anywhere in the Philippines because their pieces are über unique!
Just wanted to share that my favourite store is Curls and Twirls (http://curlsandtwirls.multiply.com/) – it’s got tons of cute, quirky accessories, mostly handmade! It’s also one of the first to offer some nifty and even kooky gift items (i.e., fully-functional USB drives shaped like sushi, and naughty adult dice). Plus, everything is priced reasonably and lovingly packed when sent to you — I’ve never received a broken/damaged parcel from the owner. Best of all, the owner, Gen, is a really sweet and intelligent gal who personally attends to all requests and purchases with a smile that you can practically feel from her responses, and who even offers both her personal inputs on items as well as after-sales services! ♥

My favorite multiply store is http://trunkshow.multiply.com/ because they offer fabulous shoes at affordable prices. Shopping is convenient not just because it’s online and you can do it at the comfort of your homes but because of Multiply’s nifty interface plus, they allow pick up at their physical stores in different malls (like Trinoma and Powerplant) which is just perfect since I don’t have to pay for the shipping fee anymore. They’re also very nice to their buyers; they’ve featured me on their website along with Trunkshow’s other fashionable customers in their “Spotted photo album”. I also got the chance to use their clothes (pull out) for a photoshoot I styled and modeled for, here’s a pic http://hurricanekitty.tumblr.com/post/8212282878/one-of-the-rare-times-where-i-actually-look-like
I just love Trunkshow! ♥
i know. i’m hours behind the deadline. but http://japanichi.multiply.com is on of the best places i’ve shopped at. the products are very nice and the site is on of the cutest and nost attractive i’ve seen. prices are normally 600+ but they’re worth it considering the quality of what they sell
I love Asian Vogue. They have a wide range of choices. What I like about Asian Vogue is how convenient it is for customers to browse everything given how they classify every item using a user-friendly interface. You can check out the best sellers, new styles, and designer replicas with just a single click. They also give discounts for first-time buyers and quantity discounts for repeat customers. The best thing about Asian Vogue is their transparency when it comes to their products as they do upload images of the ACTUAL product you’re getting. Asian fashion apparel, bags and accessories are available as well.
If you ever feel like being outdoorsy and decide to go hiking, http://basecampbaguio.multiply.com/ is the best place to shop for gear. They sell all sorts of gear that are essential should you ever decide to head on to the great outdoors, their items are still fairly small, but all are high quality and the store is constantly growing. More importantly, the things they sell are basic things that we often forget to purchase when hiking.( you would be surprised how often a simple water bottle is forgotten)
