It’s been a while since I’ve been to Beauty & Butter to have my nails done. I think it’s the proximity that’s putting things off (Megamall and Mall of Asia’s quite a task to go to for a Southerner like me) but whenever chance leads me to their mall houses, I make sure I stop by to squeeze in a quick and clean mani-pedi.

Last Saturday, I was treated by our friends from Beauty & Butter to a complimentary manicure + nail art. I had plenty of tasks to accomplish in MOA that day so I giddily accepted and before I know it, Jennifer (below) was taking care of me.

Loved the fact that Jennifer instantly saw that my nails are soft and thin so she took time to clean it through and through. If there’s one thing that will make me come back to any nail salon it would have to be the TLC I got on my first visit. :)

I was almost sold to the sticker above but the nail (polish) art samples above are too pretty! I don’t get nail art very often (I think it’s the age and full time profession LOL) so I thought of getting something silly. Or cute. Or cute silly.

It’s almost strawberry season here in the Philippines so I decided to pay a little homage. :) I also like looking at strawberries but don’t really enjoy eating them so what you’re seeing above’s a win-win. The base colour’s Basket Case by Orly while the green and yellow hues are from the salon’s nail art pens. The base colour’s painted by Jennifer while the nail art’s painted on by Kris.

Am I going back to Beauty & Butter for another nail art session? Yes cause also, for a limited time, their manicure (Php 180) + basic or strip nail art (Php 300) would only cost Php 350. Very affordable for good service! :)
