Not too long ago, Avon sent me to a massive shopping spree. You can very well assume that yes, I did shop my heart out. I first scoured over the fragrance section and scored the following:

In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon EDP. Outspoken Intense by Fergie EDP. Simply Because For Him EDT.

In Bloom (50ml, $34) smells so exquisitely shala. It’s a clean, floral EDP my mom and I are sharing at the moment that’s getting much raves everywhere. It’s a scent that develops light and not too warm on me. I’d wear this over and over at work or on a date over deli and wine. Outspoken Intense (50ml, Php 999) on the other hand is for those days when you want to steal the scene (in a good way, naturally) and be the center of attention. It’s a very juicy, floral fruity scent that’s guaranteed to turn heads. Simply Because For Him (50ml, Php 800) is a great scent for all the great looking SOs we’ve got. *wink* It’s not too cool yet fresh and has those lingering light musky notes. Mmmmm.

I slightly panicked in Twitter some 48 hours ago because I just realized that 1) I’ll be working the rest of the week and 2) I’ve yet to pack my bags for my upcoming beach trip this weekend. While I can live in just two tanks, a pair of shorts, bikinis and a coupl’a undies, I can’t quite afford to leave the same beauty junk I brought to La Union at home. Is there anything I’m missing? Or do you see anything I should ditch? HALPZ!

Apart from luxe skin care products, I (generally speaking) do not have second on thoughts blowing my budget on a seriously good hair treatment or an awesome cut. My hair is not the matampuhin type where if I go to a new stylist, it will take forever to grow back to its length. In fact, that’s my problem — my hair grows too fast reason why it’s so expensive to maintain a short and coloured ‘do. My hair’s naturally straight, fine, and almost always limp. Some love it (some stylists even ask me if it’s rebonded because it’s slippery smooth) while I feel it’s almost never great enough reason why I resort to the most luxe brand trusted by hairstylists and personalities worldwide (starts with a K, ends with an E) for serious body and shine.

Avon recently sent me their most gorgeously pigmented, moisture packed lippies ever:

Spotted: Award-winning actress and Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon sporting Red Kiss—one of 10 shades from a new, first-of-its-kind lipstick from Avon. The company who understands women now offers one lipstick, Ultra Moisture Rich Moisture Seduction, for them to not have to choose between rich color and deep moisture.

“You can visibly see the ribbons of hydrating moisture intertwining the richly-colored lipstick,” said Christa Jacinto-Sarao, Avon Southeast Asia Associate Category Manager for Avon Color. “Its color-charged pigments rush to the lips’ surface for a bolder, seductive shade while sealing in moisture.”
