Believe it or not, orange is such a beautiful and wearable hue on one’s face. Sure one can start with gentle peaches like Beauty Pro Crazy Colour eye shadow in Peach Love and shu uemura’s Sunlight Peach Creamy Dome Blusher but I’m encouraging all of you to take it to the next level this spring-summer season. I instantly fell in love with shu uemura’s Gloss Unlimited in Corona Orange from the celestial garden because it’s light yet very citrus and juicy in hue. It gives off this gorgeous, transparent tint on the lips. Tres chic!

I love, love, love this disheveled meets luxe trend! Nouv-Eau is all about Art-Nouveau, monochromatic hues, romance, natural brows, glowy skin, lip stains, and soft washes of colour.  Lip staining or tinting the inside of the lips a darker shade than the outside is still very big this season. It’s also the easiest way to try out a bold colour since it’s full-on yet non-intimidating. This trend is so easy to pull off and is very office environment friendly. I got this precious MAC Style Snob LE eye shadow (this is from the MAC Love That Look collection) from Sophie and I love it to bits. I love it wee bit much that I don’t use it very often because I’m scared to hit the pan! Imagine the huge grin on my face when I finally saw a possible dupe that’s not only less expensive but’s also a part of a brand’s permanent colour entourage. :)
