When I was 8 years old, I was left behind by my class because my parents thought that the (field) trip to the Yakult plant at Laguna was too expensive (Php 800 way back 1992). They even said: “lagi ka naman may Yakult, lagi naman tayo nasa Laguna…pareho narin yun!” Oh my parentals. Such funnies (we’re tearing up laughing as we talk about the field trip moment above)!

I was restless upon the receipt of the invite from Sophie. Apart from my batang 80s obsession, I can finally wear jeans to a field trip! Nikki totally bagged it with her winning one liner: “Naka jeans ka nga…may walkman ka ba?” LOL
