When my parents went to Boracay last year, they brought home these photos that made me green in envy:

Naturally, during my trip last week, I had to checkout the much talked about hotel myself.

Astoria Boracay has De Luxe, De Luxe – Pool Access, Luxury, Premier, and Honeymoon Suite for a total of 39 rooms. The floor area of the rooms range from 26 to 50 square meters providing you the luxury of space for a more comfortable stay.

To get inside the hotel, you have to pass through White Cafe.

Let’s have lunch first, yes?

Here’s my lunch after an hour of island hopping (uyyy justifying!). There’s about three or four more mains from the lunch buffet (Php 350/pax) but I’m so famished I was dying to carbo load up.

Going back to today’s tour, this will welcome you as soon as you step out of the White Cafe:

The high contrast brought about by the sun makes you want to run to an AC’d room, no? Wish granted.

Apart from the very tranquil, cosmo-zen ambiance, Astoria Boracay’s notorious for its super delish dinner buffet by the beach (Php 450/pax).

good luck if you can get a seat after 8pm

I highly, highly, highly recommend this buffet. The first round of the grills I got costs more than its price already! Everything’s so fresh and well seasoned I wanted to go back for more (I didn’t even get to try the super meaty kare-kare!) but I could barely stand!

This is me committing my favourite sin: gluttony! :(
