Week 02: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum

I would’ve with my family except that I’m working tonight. *sad face* Something to be less iffy about: I’m wearing a “clean” face to work with my favourite (and lucky!) red top in celebration of today’s holiday. :)
Week 02 results: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum
I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (ANR) Serum for two weeks now and the difference since day 0 has floored me. My skin is noticeably softer, more translucent, and definitely far more hydrated. Last week was made of 101% pure stress and without going into much detail, I’m surprised that it didn’t take much toll on my skin. I usually get flaky, ashy, and bumpy (yes that nasty trio all at the same time) but this time I just broke out on my left forehead.

Am I seeing any cons with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum? If there’s such thing as being “too translucent” then that’s about it. Not sure if you noticed but my freckles are actually visible (imagine what more without powder) on the first photo. Getting rid of this “chismis” is a lifelong battle and I have only been partly successful. I hope that in time Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum can help me say goodbye to these age spots permanently. :)

- Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder in 30 Naturel (soooo good it’s worth every peso spent!)
- Benefit Cosmetics Brows A-Go-Go wax
- VMV Ooh-La-Lash! Volumizing Mascara
- L’Oreal Super Liner Lasting Crayon in Brown
- La Mer The Lip Balm
If you were to try this magic potion what results are you after? Improved texture? Clarity? Keeping the lines at bay? AH YES le glow! I have to agree — it’s so elusive! I’m getting a tad bit of that from ANR but I’m only on my second week. Looking foward to see it at the end of the 4 week run! :)

Wow, impressed with the effect of that product on your sin. You’ve got nice skin Madam, clear and smooth. My skin is so acne-prone and oily, i do wish I’ll find the best product for me=)
wow, i don’t really see any signs of stress. the “breakout” isn’t even that obvious :) anyway, what I might be looking after the product is for skin to generally have improved texture, be firm and resolve skin dullness. :)
omg…i heard of this serum.. n heard loads of reviews..tot of trying it…but can i use any product of the day cream if i were to use this at night
